About NENA
In the nursery business, the race goes not to the
swift, but to the business best prepared year in and year out. Horticultural
understanding and expertise alone are insufficient to keep a nursery
business competitive. In the nursery industry, business owners and
professionals must have expertise across the wide range of horticultural,
business, and marketing areas. Yet with the demands of daily operations,
few have the time, funds, or energies to allocate toward improving
their knowledge-base outside a relatively narrow area of proficiency.
The New England Nursery Association is dedicated
to providing members with wide-ranging resources to enhance business
and professional capabilities, improve business profitability, and
to provide opportunities for business growth and success. Focusing
its energies on the areas with the greatest impact to its membership,
the Association is committed to being the central information resource
and clearing house for the New England nursery profession.
